Activating the Sibelius License Server
1. Sign in to my.avid.com/products using your email address
2. Look for Sibelius | Ultimate Multiseat (Network)
3. Click VIEW Software Download Links & Product Details
4. Download and install Sibelius License Server 8.4.2.
5. Once installed, launch the Sibelius license server
6. Under Server Status click Stop, wait for a few seconds then go to the Licenses tab.
7. Click Manage Licenses... and you'll get a window saying 'This option will cause all current clients of the license server to be disconnected. Do you wish to continue?' Click Yes.
8. Avid Application Manager or Avid Link will show up depending on what you have in your computer.
9. Once activated, go back to the Sibelius License Server Control Panel window > Status tab then click Start.
To check if it is working, go back to the Licenses tab and you should be able to see your product on that window.

a. If you have Avid Application Manager go to Licensing tab > Sibelius License Server > Select Online or Offline activation > Use the system and activation ID located in your Avid master account.
b. If you have Avid Link go to Products tab > Sibelius License Server > Click the drop-down on the right side of Open > License > Manually enter your system and activation ID located in your Avid master account.

9. Once activated, go back to the Sibelius License Server Control Panel window > Status tab then click Start.
