Bob Curnow is well known for his many arrangements he has done of the music of Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays. Here is his take on one of the PMG’s most popular tunes (finally). First recorded on the “Off Ramp” CD, it has been recorded many times since. Bob’s arrangement features solos by tenor saxophone, guitar and trumpet, working through the three key centers as the PMG versions do. It takes some mature soloists to sustain the improvisations. The writing is pure Curnow, employing lush ensemble and smooth, interesting counterpoint throughout. Here is your chance to add to your Metheny / Big Band Library. 5-4-4-4
