Band In The Building (Volume 1) - 6 First Pieces for Beginning Concert Band

"Band In The Building" has been created by experienced Queensland Band educator Vanessa J. Bartley and is a brand new series of Australian works for beginner band. The progressive series starts off with pieces that require each player to know only 2 notes and moves on to 3- and 4-note pieces in Volume 1.
Every student is catered for, with each piece, as well as each part, including a series of "Rehearsal Helpers" to assist with developing basic skills of playing in an ensemble. Each set includes 7 percussion parts to make sure no one is left with nothing to play. All of the musicians will also have fun with stamping feet, quacking like ducks, crying like seagulls, and growling at the "Spider In My Hair".
Your primary school band students will be able to perform short pieces in concerts for parents within weeks of beginning lessons on their instruments, and we all know how much students love performing for their families and school communities.
