Fiesta was commissioned in 1990 by Rosetta High School, Tasmania, in conjunction with the School's Jubilee celebrations. The notion of enjoyment, having fun at a fiesta was the composer's inspiration. The result, as you will hear, is a playable, rhythmic and appealing composition. (3:30)
