The Cajon, meaning "box" or "crate" in Spanish, originated in Afro-Peruvian communities of coastal Peru during the 18th century.
The Mahalo Lap Top Cajon is a practical and fun alternative to the traditional box cajon. It features two 10″ (255mm) wood playing surfaces and a 2.2″ (56mm) deep shell with inbuilt 20 strand snare.
