Johannes Palaschko was a German composer, violinist and violist, known for his many compositions for strings, and his connection as violin teacher to Joseph Joachim. Many of his viola etudes are still in print; he published 480 violin etudes and 217 viola etudes. He also published 178 works for violin and piano.
