Enrico Polo (1868-1953) was an Italian violinist, composer and pedagogue. His Thirty Double Chord Studies, also known as Double Stop Studies, contains progressive exercises and etudes from the first to the third position. They are beloved by music teachers around the world, and remain a long-standing staple in the technical repertoire for violin.
