It just so happens that “Supertoots” is the nickname we gave to our youngest daughter Gabby who is a budding young trumpet player (10 years old at the time of writing this piece) and who just loves tooting – especially on the high notes. One day we heard someone playing a high C and D ... well many of them actually. We just assumed it was one of her older sisters until they walked out of their own rooms and she was still playing. Gabby loves that she can play higher than one of her older sisters. So the tune is dedicated to her and all other budding young musicians.
