Written during the stirring events which surrounded the 75th anniversary of the birth of the ANZAC'S; this march tries to capture some of the spirit and determination of the 'ordinary' men who became part of the legend. Perceptions of the legend may have altered over the years but it remains a focus for generations of young Australians and New Zealanders. The music begins with a familiar motif and concludes with the hymn ST. ANN; "O God our help in ages past". Little difficulty will be found throughout the music, ranges and rhythms are well within the level of the piece. (Duration: 2:30)
